I ran yesterday morning in the dark. I ran in the streets so as not to encounter any raised sidewalks. A good run, all the way except for a warmup walk to Browning Ave.
There are so many potholes where I run that I wear a headlamp when I run in the dark. It also helps the cars see me. They don't really expect to see people running - especially around my school - very rural! Curt
I kind of enjoy running when it's dark. Most of my running before Daylight Saving Time began was in the dark this year.

Of course at the park where I mostly run, there are enough street lamps to keep it sufficiently light to see where you're going.
