2 hours
I decided to try running for two hours instead of wondering how many miles I was doing. The weather has warmed up a bit, so I thought I would hit the road with Phoebe this morning. I went outside already to leash the dog and it was precipitating. Not much, but I sort of panicked. (How is that spelled?) I got out a rain proof parka but Leslie told me that even if I got wet I would be warm. So, I changed my mind again and went in my original running attire. I did it. I ran two hours minus five minutes. I should say, we did it because Phoebe did it too. She had energy to spare unlike her mom. I don't think my form was the best and I won't set any records for speed, but if my current average running speed of a 15 minute mile was consistent, I ran about 8 miles. I was feeling pretty tired by the last half hour. I will have to work up my stamina to more than two hours though. Yea Thais!

I've read some coaches recommend running exactly that way...by time rather than miles. Sounds like it was a great idea for you. Gives you a good grasp of where you're at.
ReplyDeleteYay Thais!! If you can go 2 hours, you can do the 1/2!
