I ran again last night at the park by my house. However, I only went 2 miles. But to make it more than just a short 2 mile run, I ran the two miles all the way...no walking breaks. So that's my longest "only running" run so far this year. Prior to that I was usually running a mile non-stop, then taking a minute or two walking break every 5 - 8 minutes of running after that.
I was right at 10 minutes/mile. I actually ran the second mile faster than the first though, so that's good too.
I've still definitely got a ways to go, but it does get a bit easier every time out, so I continue to be "cautiously optimistic".
Have to watch Lost tonite, so no running; I'll probably do the situps/pushups/weights thing this evening.
